Frequently asked questions
Product Information
Yes of course. On the back of each packaging are the list of ingredients as well as the nutritional data sheet of the product. This information will soon be available on our website.
All Bilboquet ice creams are made with 3.25% milk and 35% cream. We do not make low fat ice cream. We have tried it and find the product to be bland and textureless. However, all our sorbets except the coconut one are fat-free.
As some of our products have flour-based additions, some of our ice creams contain gluten.
No, they are not.
Yes. As many of our ice creams are made with nuts and these products are made in the same spaces as the others, we cannot guarantee to people with allergies that our products have never been in contact with nuts.
Storage and presentation of products
Bilboquet ice cream keeps best in a home freezer at a temperature of -18 ºC. However, as soon as a jar is started, we suggest that you finish it as soon as possible because the worst enemy of ice cream and sorbet is the dry air in the freezer.
Unfortunately no. Thawing and refreezing a product can cause large ice crystals to appear, which results in a grainy texture and lower quality. Another good reason to finish the pot!
Your imagination is your only limit!
The lid should remain tightly closed. Don’t leave the ice cream too long at room temperature. After serving, immediately return it to the freezer. We recommend that you keep it at a temperature of at least -18 ºC.
